Renovation of a water / sewer project in Bryant, South Dakota. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
The project includes removing and disposing of the interior center support and outer rods, removing the finial and replacing it with a fail-safe vent, removing and replacing the overflow pipe with a screen, installing an anti-climb device and steel plates on the tower legs, sandblasting and painting the interior and exterior of the tank and tank legs, sealing roof and wall seams, performing extreme pit repair, removing and replacing a 10-inch gate valve, and installing a railing extension on the balcony railing. The work is to be substantially completed by August 1, 2027. Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wages apply. Bidders must comply with the American Iron and Steel provision, Public Law 115-232 Section 889 (Prohibition on Certain Telecommunications), and Equal Employment Opportunity regulations. The goals for Disadvantaged/Minority Business Enterprises (DBE/MBE) are 1.5% and for Womens Business Enterprises (WBE) are 2.4%. Question Deadline 04/28/2026 Permissible questions shall be submitted to Karen L. DeGeest, PE (karen.l.degeest@imegcorp.com). Bidder is required to visit the Site and conduct a thorough visual examination of the Site and adjacent areas. During the visit the Bidder must not disturb any ongoing operations at the Site.
