Separate sealed bids are requested for 2022 Bond Phase 4-Rebid for Manhasset Secondary School (Black Box Rebid), with the work specified as follows: Contract #1-General Construction, Contract #2-Plumbing Reconstruction, Contract #3-HVAC Reconstruction, and Contract #4-Electrical Reconstruction. Bids must be submitted on the standard proposal form and sealed in an opaque envelope clearly marked with the bidder's name and address, contract name and number, and bid opening date, and addressed to Manhasset Public Schools. Bidders must include a security deposit of not less than 10% of the base bid and all alternate bids in the proper form. The contract will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder or proposals will be rejected within 45 days of opening. The School District reserves the right to waive informalities, accept or reject alternatives, reject proposals, or advertise for new proposals if it is in the School District's best interest. Bid withdrawal is not allowed until 45 days after bid opening, except as allowed by law. Question Deadline 10/27/2025 No oral interpretation of the Bidding Documents or oral answers to questions concerning the Bidding Documents will be given. All questions about the Bidding Documents must be submitted to the Architect in writing. Replies will be issued in writing to all bidders of record as addenda to the Bidding Documents and will become part of the contract. Replies issued in any other manner will not be binding. The Architect will not be responsible for oral clarifications. No inquiry received within seven (7) calendar days of the date fixed for the opening of bids will be given consideration.
