The City will consider any or all of the following ownership, resource, and grid service types for this energy supply Ownership type, including but not limited to Design, build and sell power generator to the City, Build, own, and operate a generator and sell resulting power to the City via a Power Purchase Agreement (PPA), and Long-term scheduled wholesale energy purchase delivered via Citys transmission ties with Duke Energy Florida (DEF), Southern Company (Southern). The City is only seeking projects that are directly tied to and balanced within the City's electric system in this solicitation. Proposals initially shortlisted by the City may require a presentation by the Respondent during which the City may interview the Respondent, seek clarification on technical and cost/fee information, and explore Respondent's ability to amend their proposed solution in terms of capacity, price, and ownership type.
