The City of Vallejo is soliciting sealed bids for On-Call Fencing Services. This bid may be a single award or multiple awards based on the evaluation teams' recommendations. The contract will not guarantee set amounts to be purchased and is subject to funding approval by the City Council. The as-needed work includes furnishing all labor, materials, tools, transportation, equipment, and facilities required for fencing services as needed by the City's Water Department. The Contractor will provide fencing services anywhere on the 8,000 acres of land managed by the City of Vallejo owned and leased land including, but shall not be limited to, the areas around the Fleming Hill Water Treatment Plant, Green Valley Water Treatment Plant, Travis Air Force Based Water Treatment Plant, 26 pump stations, Lake Frey, Lake Madigan, Lake Curry, Skyview Tank, Cordelia Reservoir, and other reservoirs. Scope of work may include, but shall not be limited to: o Project Consultation o Fence Repair Work o Fence Installation o Fabrication o Automatic Gate Installation o Scheduled Gate Maintenance o Fence and/or Gate Removal The City may require fences and/or gates on City owned or leased properties of various sizes and materials, including but not limited to: Wood Privacy Fence With and without lattice top panels Wooden Gates Split Rail Fence Chain Link Fencing and gates, including, but not limited to Variety of Mesh Sizes Galvanized or other coatings Top Wire Top Pole Cyclone Fence Privacy Barbed Wire Top Razor Wire Top Wrought Iron/Ornamental Fencing Barbed Wire Fencing Metal Swing Gates Metal Sliding Gates Material Requirements Fence materials will include: Pressure treated lumber or approved wood preservative treatment for any lumber buried or in contact with soil Galvanized or other approved treatment of posts buried or in contact with soil Type of Award Lump Sum.
