Renovation of a medical facility in Pikeville, Tennessee. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility.
Sealed bids are invited for the construction of Erlanger Bledsoe Hospital Improvements for Erlanger Bledsoe at 71 Wheelertown Avenue, Pikeville, Tennessee. Each bid must include a Bid Security in the form of a Cashier's Check or a Bidder's Bond, executed by the bidder and a surety company, in the sum of not less than five percent of the total amount of the bid including all additive alternates. Performance and payment bonds in the amount of one hundred percent of the Contract Sum will be required from the successful bidder. All bidders must be licensed contractors as required by Tennessee law, with all pertinent license information placed on the bid envelope. General contractors and certain subcontractors must designate the relevant license information. No bidder may withdraw their bid within sixty days after the date of opening. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities therein. Attendance at the prebid conference is mandatory for prime bidders and optional for HVAC, Plumbing, and Electrical Sub-bidders. Construction must commence on the date specified in the Notice to Proceed and be completed within the time specified in the Contract Documents. The contractor is to complete the work diligently and uninterruptedly to ensure full completion within the specified time.
