The Longview School District No. 122 is seeking architectural services for the design and construction of improvements to Memorial Stadium at 2903 Nichols Boulevard, Longview, Washington 98632. Planned improvements to the visitor-side grandstand may include, but are not limited to, constructing a raised-platform visitor-side bleacher system to seat approximately 500 people. The goal is to select a qualified firm for a contractual relationship to provide the required architectural services. Applicants must direct all RFQ-related questions to the listed Executive Director. Submittals may be submitted by email, postal mail, or hand delivery; it is the responsibility of the proposer to ensure timely delivery. All costs for preparing and submitting proposals are at the firm's expense. The District reserves the right to accept or reject any or all submissions, award one or more contracts, and amend or withdraw the RFQ if necessary. Proposals must demonstrate that the firm is properly licensed according to Washington state law and meets all insurance requirements, including professional liability, commercial general liability, and automobile liability insurance with specified policy limits. Proposals are to be prepared in an 8.5-x 11-inch format and limited to forty (40) single-sided or twenty (20) double-sided pages, with titles or dividers that separate the sections: Company Qualifications, Project Experience and References, Professional Staff, and Technical Capabilities. The letter of interest must introduce the company and provide basic contact information. The SOQ must address legal entity, litigation/arbitration/termination history, business experience and licensing, and current insurance certificates. Project experience and references must include details of previous school district architectural projects involving grandstands or similar seating, noting if proposed team members participated in those projects. Professional staff information should include an organizational chart, position titles, qualifications, and resumes for key team members. Technical capabilities should describe familiarity with architectural procedures and required services. All responsive submittals will be evaluated based on the quality and breadth of staff, experience with similar projects, ability to communicate, resource allocation, client references, and responsiveness to the RFQ. The highest-ranking firms may be invited for interviews. The District will negotiate a contract using a modified AIA Document B101-2017 form with the most-qualified firm at a fair and reasonable price.
