As of November 14, 2025, this project has not yet been awarded. A timeline for award has not yet been established. Project consists of removal and replacement of roofing systems at John A. Logan College Building D. Project will include a base bid of TPO roof replacement and an alternate for metal roof replacement. Scope of work in base bid includes fascia and edge metal replacement, roof drain replacement, roof scupper, new TPO membrane roofing, and insulation system installation, and required penetration detailing. Scope of work in alternate includes metal gutter and downspout replacement, fascia metal replacement, new standing seam metal roofing, and insulation system installation, a unit price for plywood deck replacement, and required penetration detailing. Bids will be received for a general contract (all trades). Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to the Owner will be required of the successful bidder. General Contractors must be prequalified with CDB. Printed and electronic procurement and contracting documents may be obtained for a non-refundable deposit. Only complete sets of documents will be issued. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 60 days after opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities.
