Renovation of an educational facility in Twin Falls, Idaho. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include A new ADA elevator to connect the ground floor and second floor of the Canyon Building at the College of Southern Idaho. Work to include the selective demolition of existing stairway, concrete footings, and roof structure (open web steel joists). New elevator to be installed with its associated hoistway. New area of refuge is also to be constructed on the second floor. Power for the elevator is to be connected to an automatic transfer switch for emergency operation. Automatic transfer switch and generator installation are provided in a separate project scope (DPW 24090 CSI Emergency Generator and Data Center Improvements). A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work. Question Deadline 11/03/2025 Questions concerning a bid must be directed in writing to the designated Design Professional (architect or engineer) no less than ten (10) calendar days before bids are due unless provided otherwise via an addendum. Doc note: Electronic documents may be obtained at no cost from Myers Anderson Architects. Printed documents may be purchased for a non-refundable fee of $200 per set.
