All work must be completed to the satisfaction of the Director of Public Works or Village Arborist and any questions as to the proper procedures or quality of workmanship will be resolved by the same. The work embraced herein shall be done in accordance with the Illinois Department of Transportations Standard Specifications for Road and Bridge Construction, adopted January 1, 2016 as well as the Village of Carpentersville, Department of Public Works Standards. Work shall also be done in accordance with the General Terms and Conditions as specified above. Owner will receive Bidder Questions until 12:00 p.m., local time, November 12, 2025. The annual 2026 Tree Trimming Program involves pruning approximately 2,319 trees ranging from a DBH of 3 inches to 42 inches and over. The project also includes all related ancillary work required to complete the program according to the plans, specifications, and applicable standards. Proposals must be submitted on the specified forms, accompanied by a Bid Bond as outlined in the bid package. Bids must be clearly marked as "BID PROPOSAL: 2026 Tree Trimming Program" and addressed to the Director of Public Works and Engineering at the Village of Carpentersville. The Village reserves the right to determine the low, responsible bid, waive irregularities, or reject any or all proposals.
