Q&A Deadline 11/07/2025 03:45 PM EST The project involves the CITY OF LAKE CHARLES, LOUISIANA SOUTHWEST WATER TREATMENT PLANT BACK-UP POWER IMPROVEMENTS, with the capital project number CP3414 and HMGP Grant No. DR-4559-43. Bids must be submitted on the correct paper or electronic bid forms, accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond totaling five percent (5%) of the base bid and all alternates. Performance and Payment Bonds equal to 100% of the Contract amount are required from the successful bidder. Contractors or contracting firms must be properly licensed for the specific classification of work. Bids will be evaluated based on the lowest responsible and compliant bid. The project is funded in whole or in part by the Federal Emergency Management Agency's Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) for generator replacement and associated electrical work, and all applicable federal contract provisions apply.
