Renovation of a municipal facility in Hunnewell, Missouri. Completed plans call for the renovation of a municipal facility.

Electrical Upgrade Project - Emergency Each bidder must deposit with his bid security in the amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. No bidder may withdraw his bid within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. The owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. A. This work shall consist of furnishing and installing traffic control devices as required to protect the public, employees and to protect the work throughout the duration of the project as directed by the Owner's Representative. B. The Contractor will be responsible to submit a traffic control plan that is approved by the City of Hunnewell and the Engineer prior to any work. C. Any access shall be maintained to drives unless permission is granted by the Owner's Representative for a temporary closure. The Contractor shall provide the Owner's Representative 72 hours notice prior to closure. D. The Contractor shall provide a contact, responsible for 24-hour maintenance of signage and traffic control devices. Provide the contact's telephone number(s) to Owner's Representative. A. The extent of this section shall cover all site clearing performed prior to or during any part of construction, and all final clearing necessary to insure proper drainage and prevent unsightly or unsafe conditions. B. The work shall include, but not be limited to, the following: 1. Protection of existing trees designated to remain. 2. Clearing and grubbing. 3. Removal of existing fence. 4. Removal of all unsuitable material from public and private property resulting from construction operations. C. Applicable sections: 311313 Tree Removal A. This section includes, but is not limited to, the following: 1. Trenching 2. Backfill, Compaction and Grading 3. All Related Items A. This section outlines the specifications for wood utility poles used in electrical distribution systems. It includes requirements for pole dimensions, wood species selection, preservative treatment standards, installation procedures. and it covers specifications and mounting techniques for subsidiary components mounted on the poles, including but not limited to crossarms, guy wires, and related hardware. Electrical Contractor provide a complete utilities grounding system as shown on the drawings. This scope of work shall consist of the removal and replacement of the existing Pole 23 and the damaged 120/240V secondary distribution lines and associated equipment located between Poles 23 and 124. One (1) new 35-ft pole, along with any additional equipment required for the proper installation and reconnection of the existing 2400/4160V three-phase and 120/240V secondary lines, will be installed adjacent to Pole 23. One (1) new 25KVA transformer, along with the cutouts, fuses, and all necessary accessories, will be installed on the new pole installed adjacent to Pole 23. The existing 120/240V secondary conductors and related components between Poles 23 and 124 shall be removed, and new 120/240V secondary conductors, along with all necessary equipment required to ensure proper installation and operational functionality, shall be installed from the new pole to Pole 124. The existing streetlight on Pole 124 shall be replaced with one (1) new streetlight. Once all reconnections are complete, Pole 23 and all associated hardware will be disconnected and removed. A. Extent of supports, anchors, sleeves and seals is indicated by drawings and schedules. B. Types of supports, anchors, sleeves and seals specified in this section include the following: 1. Clevis hangers. 2. One-hole conduit straps. 3. Two-hole conduit straps. 4. Round steel rods. 5. Steel expansion anchors. 6. Toggle bolts. 7. Wall and floor seals.
