Site work and paving for a sidewalk / parking lot in Clayton, Missouri. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade sidewalk / parking lot.
The Scope of Work includes the removal and replacement of streetscape sidewalk along Bonhomme Ave. in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA). Traffic control, restoration, and other incidental items shall be included as shown in the specifications. Bidders must complete the attached Workforce Equity Report to be considered. Not less than the prevailing hourly rate of wages shall be paid to all workers. A bid security in the amount of five percent of the bid amount must accompany each bid. Contracts over $100,000 trigger Section 3 requirements of the Housing and Urban Development Act of 1968 for economic opportunities to low and moderate income persons. Contracts over $250,000 or with iron or steel must meet Build America Buy America (BABA) provisions to source materials from United States manufacturers, or document good faith efforts if not achievable. All federal regulations are applicable. The City reserves the right to accept or reject any bid and to waive any irregularities in the best interest of the City.
