**As of January 08, 2026, the project was awarded to Elliott Construction LLC, with an awarded amount of $969,161.50.** The project consists of reconstructing and overlaying approximately 3,500 feet of I-10 South Frontage Road within the City of Scott. Sealed bids must be submitted inside a sealed envelope addressed to the City of Scott, showing the name of the project and the name of the bidder. Any bidder submitting a bid of $50,000.00 or more must be a licensed contractor, holding a license with the classification Highway, street and bridge construction or its subclassification, as issued by the State of Louisiana Licensing Board for Contractors. The license number must be shown on the front of the sealed envelope. Bids not in accordance with these requirements shall be rejected and returned unopened. Bids must be on the Bid Form included in the specifications and documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a Certified Check, Cashiers Check, or Bid Bond payable to the City of Scott, amounting to not less than five percent of the total bid. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond each in the full amount of the contract must be completed upon award. No bidder may withdraw their submitted bid for at least forty-five days after the scheduled opening of bids, except as allowed under Title 38 of the Louisiana Revised Statutes.
