The improvement includes Hot Mix Asphalt (HMA) paving, milling, Portland Concrete Cement (PCC) sidewalks, PCC curb and gutter, crosswalks, earthwork, storm sewer, intakes, pavement markings, traffic control, traffic signs, and surface restoration, all in accordance with the contract documents including Plan File No. 676-323/376, located at the following locations and other locations as directed by the City Engineer within the City of Des Moines, Iowa: Cottage Grove Avenue between 31st Street and 42nd Street Williams Street / East 42nd Street between East University Avenue and Easton Boulevard Hull Avenue between 2nd Avenue and North Union Street Center Street between 28th Street and 29th Street Hull Avenue between East 14th Street and Dixon Street East Douglas Avenue between Lay Street and East 26th Street Southwest 14th Street between Washington Avenue and Lincoln Avenue 23rd Street between Washington Avenue and Lincoln Avenue East Washington Avenue between East 14th Street and Wayne Street St. Johns Road at 35th Street University Avenue at Glendale Cemetery. This project shall be fully completed not later than August 14, 2026 and in accordance with the Completion Provisions. Preletting Conference. None. Each bidder shall accompany its bid with bid security as defined in Section 26.8 of the Iowa Code and as specified by the Jurisdiction.
