1. Provide 24 couplers, 1.25" spring loaded S&C 1200A switch, for the S&C Group Operated 1200 Amp Load Break Switch, approved manufacturer: S&C ELEC VU1001. 2. Provide 14 group operated 1200 amp load break switches. Each switch must have a continuous ampacity of 1200 amps, a 34.5KV nominal and 38KV maximum, 200KV B.I.L., 30,000 amps RMS asymmetrical one time fault closing duty cycle and tin plated standard NEMA 4 hole terminal pads. Must be suitable for outdoor mounting on a single wood, concrete, or steel pole, with mounting requirements as specified, base hot dipped galvanized to ASTM A123, and must not contain any aluminum in the operating mechanism or conducting elements. 3. Provide 2 vertical break, riser-pole-mountable, 1200 amp group operated load break switches, continuous ampacity 1200 amps, 34.5KV nominal and 38KV maximum, as above, with all linkages and rotating components of stainless or galvanized steel. No aluminum accepted. Must include brackets for surge arresters, 40' galvanized steel operating pipe, hardware and mounting as specified. All loose parts must be packaged in wood boxes labeled with switch voltage and amperage rating, including specifications and mounting diagrams. Switches must meet all applicable ANSI, NEMA, and IEEE standards. Delivery must be on an open, flat bed truck. Alternate brands will not be accepted. Bid must be submitted via the Bid Center and received by 2:00 pm local time on the published close date. State earliest delivery in calendar days. Indicate the brand being quoted.
