Site work for a golf course in Brookings, South Dakota. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade golf course.
The work consists of approximately 6,000 lineal feet of 6" watermain between Bid Alternate #1 and Bid Alternate #2, installation of an underground pump vault with pumps, valves, SCADA, and other appurtenances, installation of approximately 3,900 cubic yards of owner-furnished clay liner material including unclassified excavation and dewatering, and approximately 360 lineal feet of 12" steel encasement (jack and bore). Bidders must submit sealed original bids accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or draft for five percent of the bid amount, or a bid bond for ten percent of the bid amount, with the checks or bonds to be payable to the City of Brookings. Bidders must hold all applicable South Dakota tax licenses and provide a Performance and Payment Bond not less than the contract price. All bids must be signed and submitted in a sealed envelope labeled Bid for Edgebrook Golf Course Water Sourcing. The City of Brookings reserves the right to waive irregularities and reject any and all bids. No bids may be withdrawn after the time set for the opening of bids. Preference will be given to materials, products, and supplies found or procured within the State of South Dakota.
