The intent ofthis project is to enhance the curb appeal ofschool entrances and grounds to create a welcoming environment for students, families, staff, and the conununity. The contractor shall provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to complete landscaping beautification projects, which may include but are not limited to: Planting ofseasonal flowers, shrubs, or ornamental trees Design and installation ofmulch beds, decorative stone, or edging Removal of existing overgrowth or unsightly plantings Installation ofplanters or decorative features at entryways Soil preparation and fertilization for new plantings General clean-up oflandscaped areas The Rochester School District is seeking proposals for construction of landscaping services. Proposals must be submitted on the attached bid proposal form in sealed envelopes plainly marked as "Proposal for PRE-WINTER PREPARATION AND SPRING LANDSCAPING IMPLEMENTATION SERVICES*Rochester School District." Failure to properly mark the envelope will result in disqualification if the bid is prematurely opened.
