Renovation of a medical facility in Charlotte Court House, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade medical facility.

It is the intent to obtain pricing from qualified licensed contractors for a roof overbuild project located at the Health Department building, 270 David Bruce Avenue, Charlotte Court House, Virginia in accordance with all the specifications, terms and conditions outlined. The existing roof is a flat roof with a roof drain running to the center of the building. The roof consists of open-web steel joists that span from left to right when looking at the building from David Bruce Avenue. The joists extend beyond the wall approximately 18 inches. The walls are 8-inch concrete masonry units (CMU). There are capped curbs on the roof from previous equipment protruding up to approximately 1 foot above the roof line. The Contractor shall provide the necessary equipment, materials, tools, licenses, permits, supervision, transportation, insurance, and incidentals needed to complete the project in strict accordance with the specifications provided, any addenda, and all manufacturer's specifications. The Contractor shall obtain a building permit from the Charlotte County Administration Office prior to beginning work. All materials and work shall conform to the Virginia Uniform Statewide Building Code, OSHA regulations, and all other applicable local, state, and federal regulations. The project will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder. Responses may be submitted in office or through eVA online. All prices are considered firm for ninety days after the due date. Charlotte County may cancel or withdraw a solicitation in whole or in part and reject any and all bids or proposals at any time prior to an award.
