The work includes furnishing and performing 4 inch asphalt patching, tack oil application, installation of a 1-1/2" asphalt surface course, hauling and disposal of all excavated materials, installation of temporary paint and permanent thermoplastic pavement markings, and installation and maintenance of work zone traffic control. The contractor is responsible for supplying all labor, materials, equipment, and all else necessary for the timely completion of the listed projects. Prior to beginning construction, the successful bidder must file with the City all required bonds, certificates of insurance, and other documents as outlined in the general conditions. Bids must be submitted in a sealed, dated envelope marked "Proposal for Hephzibah LMIG 2024" with the bidder's name and the date and hour of opening. A bid bond or certified check for not less than ten percent of the bid amount must accompany the bid. The bid package must include the Instructions to Bidders completed with required data, a ten percent bid bond, a completed and executed Proposal for Construction form, and a list of proposed subcontractors.
