The project involves the purchase of 1000 AMI Water Meters. Bids must be submitted as sealed, lump sum bids. Each bid must be accompanied by a bid proposal deposit in the form of cash, certified check, cashier's check, postal money order, or surety bond payable to the City, in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the bid. Bids received after the specified deadline will not be accepted or considered. The successful bidder must enter into the contract within ten days of being notified, or the bid deposit will be forfeited. The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids or waive any informalities and to select the bid determined to be from the lowest responsible bidder.
