Disclaimer: IN ORDER FOR YOUR BID TO BE CONSIDERED A LEGAL BONAFIDE BIDDER ON THE PROJECT, DOCUMENTS MUST BE PURCHASED FROM REMINGTON, VERNICK ENGINEERS DIRECTLY Sealed bids will be received for the Alder Avenue Middle School Parking Lot Expansion in Egg Harbor Township, Atlantic County, New Jersey. Bid forms, contracts, and specifications are available for purchase from Remington and Vernick Engineers. Prospective bidders must contact the engineers to schedule the acquisition of these documents. Payment is required prior to obtaining specifications. Bids must be submitted in sealed envelopes with the bidder's name, address, and reference to the work being bid upon, addressed to the Business Administrator of the Egg Harbor Township Board of Education. Each bid must include a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond of at least ten percent (10%) of the bid amount (not exceeding $20,000.00), and a Certificate of Consent of Surety for performance/payment bonds. Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Schools Development Authority and the New Jersey Department of the Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction, and submit a valid classification certificate. Compliance with all statutory requirements, including Affirmative Action, Prevailing Wage Act, Public Works Contractor Registration Act, business registration, and Disclosure Statement listing stockholders, is mandatory. The Board of Education reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality in the bids received. *The list of planholders and/or interested bidders is not being tracked by the stakeholders involved with this project. Question Deadline 11/03/2025 No interpretations of the meaning of the drawings, specifications or other contract documents will be made to any bidder orally. Every request for such interpretation should be made in writing, addressed to the Engineer, and to be given consideration, must be received at least ten (10) days prior to the final date fixed for receiving bids.
