Furnishing all tools, materials and labor and performing the work necessary to be done in the construction of CITYWIDE INFRASTRUCTURE REHABILITATION & IMPROVEMENTS for the City of Tulsa. Drawings, specifications and contract documents have been adopted by the Mayor, and copies can be obtained at the Office of Contract Administration for a non-refundable fee. Contractors must comply with laws regarding non-discrimination in employment. The aspirational Small Business Enterprise utilization goal for this project is ten percent. Bidders must commit to employing at least fifty percent bona fide residents of the City of Tulsa and/or MSA in each employment classification. Bidders, their subcontractors, and lower-tier subcontractors must hire only citizens of the United States. The City of Tulsa and its direct vendors are exempt from sales and use taxes. A certified or cashier's check or bidders surety bond of 5% of the bid amount is required. The successful bidder must provide public liability and workmen's compensation insurance, and furnish Performance, Statutory, and Maintenance bonds for 100% of the contract price. Pre-qualification requirements: Bids will only be accepted from holders of valid pre-qualification certificates from the City of Tulsa in one or more of the following classifications: A or C. Attendance at the mandatory Pre-Bid Conference is required; bids will not be received from contractors who did not attend.
