The New York State Bridge Authority (NYBSA) is soliciting proposals to provide twenty-four (24) hour standby readiness in order to take action, at the Chief Engineers discretion, to protect property and public safety by repairing portions of, and preventing further degradation to, Authority facilities. The repair work will be of a type that is usually associated with structural repairs to bridges, highways and other features of Authority facilities. The Contractor shall be readily available to supply equipment, manpower and materials on 5 days notice commencing on the award date of the contract. If an assignment arises, the Contractor will be notified by the Chief Engineer, or his representative, to mobilize to perform the urgent repair work as needed.
