A timeline for the award has not yet been established.** The work includes heavy cleaning of sanitary sewer pipe of multiple material types, pre- and post-construction CCTV, in-trench replacement of sanitary sewer, jack and bore installation of sanitary sewer line, manhole demolition and replacement, lining of sanitary sewer lines by cured-in-place-pipe (CIPP) method, and all necessary appurtenances and restoration for said construction. Add Alternates will be considered for additional sanitary sewer replacement. All bidders are required to buy the Bid Documents in PDF format for a non-refundable deposit. Proposals must be upon the forms furnished, and must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond in the amount of ten percent of the bid, made payable to the Borough of Oakmont. Bids will be publicly opened and read aloud via video conference. Pennsylvania prevailing wage rates apply. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the bidder has failed to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, or any applicable statutes or ordinances. The Borough reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid may be withdrawn for ninety calendar days after the scheduled time for receipt of bids. Procurement is subject to all requirements of the Pennsylvania Steel Products Procurement Act, the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act, and The Public Works Employment Verification Act. Bidders will be required to comply with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and all federal requirements and certifications in Executive Order No. 11246 and 11375.
