Renovation of a development in Corpus Christi, Texas. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade development.
The work is for a unit cost contract to provide asbestos abatement services in Corpus Christi, Texas. Bidders are to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, supplies, supervision, insurance, incidentals, and services necessary or required to complete the work as described in the specifications and contract documents. The work includes, but is not limited to, removal of linoleum or floor covering, floor tile (single and multi-layer), sheetrock/joint compound, spray-on ceiling and wall textures, cement sheets, cement shingle (transite), roof mastic, parapet mastic, vapor barrier mastic, felt paper, and transite siding. All work must be in accordance with the contract documents, and may include items to be added or deleted at the discretion of the Port of Corpus Christi Authority. Instructions require bidders to submit a sealed bid package with a bid bond or cashier's check for 5% of the total bid, and performance and payment bonds for 100% of the contract amount upon award. Bids must be in a sealed envelope and submitted to the specified address by the stated deadline. The Port reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids received.
