The work primarily consists of the installation of 210 feet of 6-inch force main, the addition of two 6-inch scum trough lines on the chlorine contact basin, the replacement of various fittings on the offsite lift station, recoating the offsite lift station piping wall penetrations, and alternate items for blasting and recoating the offsite lift station, replacing the guide bars and brackets on the offsite lift station, and blasting and recoating the onsite WWTP lift station. Question Deadline 11/07/2025 at 12:00 PM CT All questions about the meaning or intent of the Contract Documents must be submitted to the Engineer in writing at least ten (10) days prior to the opening of bids. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by ENGINEER in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda at least 48 hours prior to Bid Opening. Each bid shall be accompanied by a bid guarantee in the form of a certified check, cashier's check, or acceptable Bid Bond, payable to Southern Montgomery County Municipal Utility District, in an amount no less than 5% of the maximum bid price submitted, as a guarantee that the bidder will enter into a contract within (10) days after receipt of the contract documents. Check shall be drawn on a responsible bank in the state and a bid bond shall be issued by a surety legally authorized to do business in the state. The right is reserved, as the interest of the district may require, to reject any or all bids and/or to waive any irregularities in bids received. Additionally, bids cannot be withdrawn 24 hours after they are opened.
