Renovation of a military facility in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Working plans call for the renovation of a military facility.

This design-bid-build project involves the construction of a fully operational four-dock programmed depot maintenance hangar at Tinker Air Force Base. The facility will feature a single-story structural steel-framed hangar bay with full-span trusses on a cast-in-place concrete slab. Support spaces include a single-story shop area and a two-story administration section, constructed with steel framing and containing restrooms, lockers, private offices, administrative areas, a breakroom, a FEMA storm shelter, and hazardous material storage. The hangar bay will have a standing seam metal roof, while the support areas will use a low-slope single-ply membrane roof. Special deep foundations using piers and driven piles are required. Supporting infrastructure includes utilities and connections, site demolition and earthwork, apron pavements, fencing, and site improvements. The facility will use natural gas and be built to permanent construction standards per DoD Unified Facilities Criteria 1-200-01 and antiterrorism/force protection requirements per UFC 4-010-01. A Project Labor Agreement (PLA) will be required prior to award, and the estimated construction cost range is between $250 million and $500 million. The estimated duration of the project is 1,461 calendar days. Location: Tinker Air Force Base, 3001 S Douglas Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73130 In accordance with DFARS 236.204(iv), the estimated construction price range for this project is $250,000,000 and $500,000,000.
