Demolition, site work, paving, renovation and addition to a mixed-use development in Woodhaven, Michigan. Completed plans call for the addition of a educational facility; educational facility; for the renovation of a educational facility; for site work for a educational facility; sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Sealed bids are invited for additions and renovations at three elementary schools: Erving Elementary School (addition and renovations), Wegienka Elementary School (renovations), and Yake Elementary School (addition and renovations). The bid package consists of separate sealed bids for bid divisions including Earthwork/Site Utilities, Asphalt Paving/Site Concrete, Selective Demolition, Concrete Footings & Foundations, Interior Concrete, Masonry, Steel, Carpentry/General Trades, Roofing/Sheetmetal, Caulking, Aluminum Windows/Entrances/Glass & Glazing, Metal Studs/Drywall/Acoustical Treatments, Hard Tile, Carpet/Resilient Flooring, Painting, Signage, Toilet Partitions & Accessories, Plastic Laminate Casework, Window Treatments, Food Service Equipment, Plumbing, Fire Protection, HVAC, Electrical, Landscaping, and Fencing. A Bid security by a quality surety in the form of a Bid bond, cashier check, or certified check in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid shall be submitted with each Bid, payable to Woodhaven-Brownstown School District, If awarded a Contract, the successful Bidder may be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the Contract price. The Woodhaven-Brownstown School District reserves the right to accept or reject any and all Bids, either in whole or in part, to waive any informalities and irregularities therein, or to award the Contract to other than the Bidder (s) submitting the best financial Bid (low Bidder), in its sole and absolute discretion.
