The City of Palm Coast is soliciting bids from qualified and licensed contractors to provide construction services for 1.5 inch milling and resurfacing of both lanes of Putter Drive, from Parkview Drive to Putter Drive, covering approximately 1,000 linear feet at a width of 20 feet. The project area also includes Florida Park Drive (southbound lane) from Flagler Place to Forest Hill Drive. The location includes six manholes and one lift station within the area of work. The contractor must possess a valid general contractors license. Responsibilities include providing all necessary equipment, personnel, materials, and tools, restriping all areas resurfaced, meeting City standards for roadway replacement, obtaining required permits, providing Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) in accordance with FDOT Standards if required, furnishing MOT plans and a project schedule if required, and ensuring site security and public safety. The contractor shall be responsible for any damage to the City right-of-way, road surfaces, or private property that occurs during construction. Total construction time for Substantial Completion on both sites is thirty consecutive calendar days from the Notice to Proceed, with an additional thirty consecutive calendar days for Final Completion. Bid submissions are to be made electronically through the Citys Procurement Portal. Bidders are instructed not to contact any member of City Council, City Manager, or staff members other than the designated contact person(s) prior to formal consideration by the City Council. Any questions regarding the bid documents must be submitted in writing at least seven calendar days before the due date. Any addenda must be acknowledged, signed, and returned with the bid submittal. A Bid Bond is required for bids of $100,000 or greater, and awarded contractors must furnish Payment, Performance, and Material & Workmanship Bonds in the required amounts.
