The City of Palm Coast intends to request bids for Milling & Resurfacing of the arterial roadway Palm Coast Pkwy. from I-95 east to the Hammock Dunes Toll Bridge, including the side streets Harbor Center Way, Florida Park Dr., Clubhouse Dr., Colbert Ln., and Fairways Cir. The work includes milling 1.5 inches of asphalt and replacing it with 1.5 inches of asphalt, striping, and utility valve/manhole adjustments. Arterial roadway work may require base repair with deep milling up to 8 inches and replacement of base material with asphalt, and extension of two turn lanes. All paving operations are to be performed during night time hours, between 8:00 PM and 7:00 AM. Bid submittals must be received electronically through the City's Procurement Portal. Bidders are instructed not to contact City officials other than the noted contact. Bid Bond is required for bids of $100,000 or greater at 5% of the bid price. Performance, Payment, and Material and Workmanship Bonds are required upon award. Failure to comply with document requirements, addenda, or bond requirements will result in rejection of the bid submission. All questions must be submitted in writing through the Procurement Portal at least seven days before the due date. The City reserves the right to reject all bids or abandon the project at any time.
