The Rural Municipality of Coalfields No. 4, located in Southeast Saskatchewan, is accepting tenders as follows: o to supply the RM with 25,000 cubic yards of 3/4 " traffic gravel (106 Specification) and 2,500 yards of 1.5"gravel o to stockpile at the RM's gravel stockpiles located at: o NW 34-02-05W2 - Blk/Par A-Plan 101194297 Ext 31 and SW 03-03-05W2 Ext 2 (15,000 cubic yds- 3/4 "Traffic Gravel) o NE 24-01-05W2 (10,000 cubic yds- 3/4 " Traffic Gravel) o NE 24-01-05W2 (2,500 cubic yds-1.5" Traffic Gravel) o work to be completed prior to March 15, 2026 o gravel samples must be provided to the RM CAO prior to supply or throughout the crushing process, if crushing is required. o inquiries regarding this tender can be directed to RM CAO, Monica Kovach (306) 388-2323 ext. 4 The work shall be fully completed and possession thereof given to the RM of Coalfields on or prior to March 15th, 2026, the completion date, unless the completion date is altered by mutual agreement of the parties under any terms of this Contract. If at the time of completion all or a portion of the work is incomplete, the RM of Coalfields reserves the right to take over the remaining work and complete it by any means deemed necessary by the RM Council. The RM would pay the Contractor for the work completed up to that time. If the Contractor is unable to complete the work by the completion date specified, the RM may take that into consideration when reviewing future tender submissions. The Municipality shall require the successful bidder, at the time of execution of the Contract, to furnish a performance bond or irrevocable letter of credit in an amount equal to fifty percent (50%) of the tendered price of the work. The cost of securing the bond or letter of credit shall be borne by the Contractor. The Municipality reserves the right to refuse to accept any or all tenders, and the lowest or any tender may not necessarily be awarded. Without limiting the generality of the foregoing, any tender may be rejected which is incomplete, obscure, or irregular. The Municipality reserves the right to cancel the acceptance of any tender at any time before the execution of the contract by all parties without any liability against the Municipality.
