Principal items of work include the following: Contract Number 1: Tank Repainting: the painting exterior and interior of a 75,000 water storage tank, replacing FAA lighting, tank float, exterior ladder, exterior balcony and railing. Contract Number 2: Well House Renovations and Building Replacements: rehabilitation of the existing chlorine well house, the installation of new chlorine equipment, rehabilitation of existing piping in or around the chlorine well house, demolition of the existing shed structure, construction of a new metal shed structure, construction of a new CMU storage building, and other miscellaneous items. To be eligible for consideration, bids must be submitted on complete proposals made available by the Owner. Complete digital project bidding documents are available upon an online payment of a non-refundable fee. A free one-time membership registration with Quest CDN will be required for digital document access. Optional complete paper bid documents are available upon payment of a refundable deposit, with specific requirements for paper document returns. No paper bid documents will be distributed later than 48 hours prior to the scheduled opening of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informalities. Each bidder must submit with their bid, security in the amount, form, and subject to the conditions provided in the Information for Bidders. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond payable to the Owner for 5% of the total amount of the bid not to exceed $10,000. The successful bidder will be required to submit a 100% performance bond and a 100% payment bond. All nonresident contractors preparing bids shall submit with the bid documents evidence of a current Florida General Contractors License, evidence of proper registration with the Florida Secretary of State as a foreign corporation, and a Certificate of Good Standing of a Foreign Corporation from the State of Florida Department of Revenue. Bids submitted by a nonresident contractor without these documents included will be rejected.
