The Governing Board of the Poway Unified School District is inviting qualified and experienced contractors to submit sealed bids for the "BID 2026-06 MVMS AND PHS GUTTER REPLACEMENT" project. Bids must be delivered to 13626 Twin Peaks Road, Building 700, Poway, CA 92064 and labeled as specified. Bids received after the deadline will be returned unopened. Specifications are available on the Districts Purchasing Departments webpage. A mandatory pre-bid conference and site visit "Job Walk" will be held, and attendance at both specified locations is required for bid responsiveness. Required contractor licenses are either a CSLB Class B Contractor License (with a CSLB Class C-61/D24 Metal Products Contractor License) or a CSLB Class C-61/D24 Metal Products Contractor License. Each bidder must have at least five years experience in the magnitude and character of the work bid. All contractors and subcontractors must be registered with the Department of Industrial Relations (DIR) and comply with all labor compliance requirements. Each bid must include security in an amount not less than ten percent of the maximum bid amount, in the form of a cashiers check, certified check, or a bond issued by a California-admitted surety. The successful bidder will be required to provide both a performance bond and a separate payment bond, each in an amount equal to 100% of the total contract amount. The District reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any irregularities or informalities in bids. Bids may not be withdrawn for thirty days after the opening of the bids.
