Site work and renovation of a water / sewer project in Long Beach, Washington. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.

The project consists of improvements to three sewer lift stations in the City of Long Beach: Breakers Lift Station, and Lift Stations 2 and 5. The work includes demolition and wastehauling of existing equipment, rehabilitation and coating of two existing wet wells, installation of new owner-furnished submersible pumps and controls, construction of new wet well lids and hatches at each lift station, installation of a new saddle manhole and wet well top barrel section on Breakers Lift Station, new valve vaults at Lift Station 5 and Breakers Lift Station, and new force mains from the wet well to the discharge points at each location. The influent sewer line to Lift Station 2 will be replaced. The existing wood fencing at Lift Station 5 will be replaced with new wood fencing. New pump disconnect electrical seal-off vaults and Owner-furnished control panels will be installed at each lift station. The work must be substantially complete within 185 working days after the commencement date. Proposals must be submitted on the provided form, accompanied by a certified check, postal money order, cashier's check, or proposal bond payable to the City of Long Beach in an amount not less than five percent of the total proposal amount. Bidders are encouraged to register on the project website to receive notifications of future addenda and be placed on the Bidders List. Contract questions should be directed only to the office of the Project Engineer. The City reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities in any proposal.
