FY26 Hopper Dredging of the Houston Ship Channel - Bayport Flare and adjacent main stem involves hauling dredged material to the Ocean Dredged Material Disposal Site (ODMDS). Contractors should be familiar with Houston Ship Channel traffic conditions and demonstrate experience as prime contractors in hopper dredging deep draft navigation channels. They must show capability to produce at least 20,000 cubic yards per day using a hopper trailing suction dredge on similar deep draft navigation projects. The work must be completed within 100 calendar days and comply with the USACE Safety and Health Requirements Manual (EM 385-1-1), as well as all applicable Federal, State, and local regulations. The estimated construction price range is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. Performance and Payment Bonds are required within 5 calendar days after award, and work must begin within 10 calendar days of receiving the Notice to Proceed. Liquidated damages of approximately $4,100 per calendar day will apply for delays beyond the specified completion time. The Method of Contractor Selection has not been determined at this Time. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
