ClosingTiem: 3:30 PM (NT) CCG Southside Base Wharf Reconstruction This is the first phase (Phase One) of a two-phase process: the first phase will evaluate the qualifications of all interested Offerors; the second phase (Phase Two) will invite the qualified Offerors to provide a financial bid on the project based on the specifications and drawings. The qualification list will expire within 60 days or upon award of a contract in Phase Two, whichever is earlier, and the prequalification list will not be used in any other solicitation. The work covered under this contract consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment and material for these improvements at the Southside Base Wharf, Newfoundland and Labrador. All inquiries are to be directed to the Contracting Authority Dylon Leonard: Dylon.Leonard@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca The scope of work consists of the furnishing of all plant, labour, equipment, and material for wharf reconstruction at South Side Base Wharf, St.John's, NL. Work will consist of, but will not necessarily be limited to, the following: - Removal and disposal of existing timber wheelguard and blocking along Berths - Removal and disposal of all ladder holdfasts, - Removal and disposal of identified ladders, - Supply and installation of new timber wheelguard and blocking, - Removal and reinstatement of damaged concrete at identified areas of deck and slab, - Installation of new steel holdfasts at all ladder locations, - Supply and installation of new steel ladders, - Removal and reinstatement of joints, and - Other work as specified or detailed in the contract documents.
