As of December 16, 2025 the project has been awarded. Sealed bids for paving improvements along South Plainview Road beginning at Southern Hills Drive, thence North to Myall Road in Ardmore, Oklahoma The project consists of: side drain grading & shaping, fence removal and replacement, processing existing base, adding cement to stabilize the existing base and placement of multiple layers of an asphalt surface, along with other miscellaneous appurtenances. Each proposal shall be accompanied by an acceptable form of Proposal Guaranty in an amount equal to at least five percent (5%) of the amount of Proposal, as guaranty that if the Proposal is accepted, the Bidder will execute the Contract and furnish the acceptable Performance Bond. Labor & Maintenance Bond, Owner's Protective Liability Policy, and Certificates of Insurance within fifteen (15) days after the award of the contract. The time allowed for completion of this project is 30 calendar days. This work will be performed between the 15th of December 2025 and the 15th of January 2026. Road closure of Plainview Road will only be allowed between December 20th ,2025 and January 4th, 2026. Liquidated damages for failure to complete the project within the allotted time or authorized extensions thereof, shall be $ 500.00 per working day. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any informality in the bidding, for the benefit of the Owner.
