The participation goal percentages on the amount of the contract awarded by CDB for this project are: 13% MBE, 5% WBE, and 3% Combined VBE/PBE. The scope of the project is to renovate the existing Lence Hall at Choate Mental Health and Development Center. The building was constructed in 1938 and its building assembly is Masonry walls and metal truss system. Demolition will consist of removal of most interior walls, windows, doors, cabinetry, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and Asbestos Abatement of pipe insulation and ceiling texture. New work will include new parking and sidewalks, new offices, breakroom, bathrooms, windows, doors, brick tuckpointing, painting, HVAC, new plumbing and Electrical. Renovate Lence Hall at the Choate Mental Health and Developmental Center in Anna, Union County. MBE/WBE subcontracting and supplier goals apply. A standard Project Labor Agreement applies to this project. Delivery method is Single Prime. Trade cost range is less than $7,000,000.
