Site work and new construction of a transportation facility in Morganton, North Carolina. Completed plans call for the construction of a transportation facility; and for site work for a transportation facility.
Sealed bids are requested for a New 8-Unit T-Hangar Building at the Foothills Regional Airport. All contractors must possess the proper contractor's licenses as required by the state laws governing their respective trade for the project location. Bidding documents can be examined at the Airport Terminal Building and various plan rooms listed. Bidders are required to obtain a complete set of bidding documents from Richa Graphics, and must be on the official plan holders list to receive any bid documents. Each bid must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or certified check payable to the Foothills Regional Airport Authority, in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid amount. Bids cannot be withdrawn for 120 calendar days after the closing time for bids. The Airport Authority reserves the right to reject any or all bids and waive technical defects in submission. Proposals must be sealed, properly addressed, and marked with the contractor's name, address, and license number on the envelope. Question Deadline 11/13/2025 A bidder that has doubt as to the true meaning of a project requirement may submit to the Owner's Engineer a written request for interpretation no later than seven (7) days prior to bid opening.
