Interlicchia, Capital Projects Manager sam.interlicchia@bcsemail.org / 828-232-4244 Submit Written Questions Vendor Tuesday, October 21, 2025 5.1 Project Project generally consists of furnishing and installing a retrofit, standing seam metal roof system over specific areas of the existing roofs at Clyde A. Erwin Middle School, in accordance with the drawings and specifications prepared by Wolf Trail Engineering. 5.2 Scope Scope generally consists of the install of a new, standing seam, interlocking metal roof system complete with all trim, flashings, gutters, downspouts and accessories as required to provide a 50 year warranty on material and 30 year weathertightness from the manufacturer and all associated miscellaneous work as shown in the project drawings and specifications. Pursuant to North Carolina General Statue G.S. 143-48, it is Buncombe County Schools policy to encourage and promote the use of small, minority, physically handicapped, and women contractors in purchasing Goods and Services. As such, this RFP will serve to identify those Vendors that are minority owned or have a strategic plan to support Buncombe County Schools Historically Underutilized Business program by meeting or exceeding the goal of 10% utilization of diverse firms as 1st or 2nd tier subcontractors.
