ARCHITECTURAL: Partial partition demolition & alterations, new interior & exterior storefront system with window security film, new doors with hardware, new finishes, new ceiling, temporary access & requirements per project phasing MECHANICAL/PLUMBING: Modifications existing vents, exhaust, & fans, new heating elements ELECTRICAL: New lighting, key card access, remote release, security cameras, life safety, fire devices, public address speakers, power & data outlets STRUCTURAL: Modification to concrete slab, new footings, foundation, supports SITE: Excavation & regrading, modifications to sidewalk, new apron At Grover Cleveland MS, Washington ES, Jefferson ES: Upgrades to the existing Security Vestibule. ARCHITECTURAL: New finishes, new security film, ceiling replacement ELECTRICAL: Lighting replacement, security system upgrades, new public address speakers, new power & data outlets. Pre-qualification requirements: Bidders must be pre-qualified by the New Jersey Department of Treasury, Division of Property Management and Construction (DPMC) in one of the following categories: (C008) General Construction or (C009) General Construction/Alterations/Additions. Bidders must also be prequalified or include documentation for prequalified subcontractors for the following classifications: (C029) Structural Steel and Ornamental Iron, (C032) HVACR, and (C047) Electrical. All bidders and subcontractors for major branches of work must be prequalified by the DPMC. Bidders must submit a Certificate of Prequalification/Classification and an Affidavit as to the Total Amount of Uncompleted Contracts for themselves and relevant subcontractors. Business Registration Certificate, statement of ownership, Public Works Contractor Registration, compliance with anti-discrimination laws, and a non-debarment affidavit are also required. Bid security in the form of a bid bond or certified/cashier's check equal to 10% of the bid, not exceeding $20,000, must be provided, along with a Certificate of Consent of Surety. Additional bonds are required from the successful bidder as specified. Compliance with all applicable laws and regulations is mandatory. The Board reserves the right to reject non-responsive bids or all bids, and to waive minor informalities or non-material exceptions in the best interest of the Board. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
