Renovation of a transportation facility in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for the renovation of a one-story above grade transportation facility.

ETU776 Trip Unit Replacement and Testing (Regulator Building) for Milwaukee County's General Mitchell Airport (5300 S. Howell Ave., Milwaukee WI 53207) ETU776 Trip Unit Replacement and Testing (Regulator Building) This project specification identifies the removal, replacement and primary injection testing of five ETU776 trip units (Part Number WLETU776MP) located in the Regulator Building. Work must comply within compliance of all industry standards. Equipment Identification o MSB/A&B Tie Breaker o MSB/A Main Breaker o MSB/A PP/1 Breaker o MSB/A Transformer #2 Breaker o MSB/B 480V Bus Breaker Removal of Existing Trip Units o De-energize and apply lock-out/tag-out on each breaker per NFPA 70E safety procedures. o Document "as-found" protective device settings; retrieve and record existing trip settings. o Remove breaker covers and existing ETU776 trip units carefully to avoid disturbing adjacent devices. o Label and bag all mounting hardware to maintain proper assembly order and prevent loss. Installation of New Trip Units o Inspect mounting surfaces for damage or debris; clean and prepare as necessary. o Mount new WLETU776MP trip units and apply manufacturer-specified torque values. o Reinstall breaker covers and verify proper gasket sealing. o Load manufacturer's default settings or input documented "as-found" settings if engineeringprovided values are unavailable. Primary Injection Testing o Provide test power (up to 150 kW/125 A at 480 VAC single-phase) within 50 ft of equipment. o Conduct tests per NETA Maintenance Testing Specifications (Section 4.0 Repair): o Verify pickup values at 80 %-120 % of trip unit rating. o Measure trip timing curves for phase and ground elements. o Compare test results to engineering or manufacturer settings; adjust if deviations exceed tolerances, then retest. o Record all test data, including "as-found" vs. "as-left" values, using approved test software. Quality Assurance & Reporting o Ensure all test instruments are calibrated with traceability to NIST standards (NETA Section 5.3). o Compile a comprehensive report detailing settings, test results, adjustments, and corrective actions. o Include photo documentation of each installed trip unit and test setup for verification Question Deadline 11/06/2025 at 10:30 AM CT
