Site work for a water / sewer project in Beeville, Texas. Completed plans call for site work for a one-story above grade water / sewer project.
The FM 351 Booster Pump Station project entails the removal and replacement of a 250,000-gallon galvanized steel bolted ground storage tank (GST). Bids must include a bid bond in the amount of 5 percent of the bid issued by an acceptable surety for contracts exceeding $100,000. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Beeville or negotiable U.S. Government Bonds (at par value) may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The project will be financed with assistance from the General Land Office (GLO) under the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development Community Development Block Grant-Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) program and is subject to all applicable Federal and State laws and regulations. Not less than the federally determined prevailing Davis-Bacon and Related Acts wage rate, as issued by the Department of Labor and contained in the contract documents, must be paid on this project. The successful bidder must ensure that employees and applicants for employment are not discriminated against because of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, or national origin. Adherence to the City of Beeville Section 3 Policy is required for all contracts. All contractors and subcontractors must be cleared (not suspended or debarred) prior to any formal action authorizing the award of a contract. Minority Business Enterprises, Small Business Enterprises, Women Business Enterprises, Section 3 Businesses, and labor surplus area firms are encouraged to submit bids. The City of Beeville reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Bids may be held by the City of Beeville for up to 60 days from the bid opening date for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating bidder qualifications prior to contract award. Question Deadline 10/31/2025: No oral interpretations will be made to any bidder. Each request for clarification shall be made in writing to the City/County or engineer no less than seven (7) days prior to the bid opening.
