PROJECT DESCRIPTION: Bathroom Renovations at Marwood High-Rise in Benwood, 2106 Marshall Street; 218 Logan St. in McMechen Manor, 2016 Ashland Ave. and 2026 Asland Ave. at Marwood in Benwood. SUMMARY OF THE WORK: 1. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, and supervision to successfully accomplish all the work of the project, and as set forth in the Contract Documents and drawings. The buildings involved will be OCCUPIED during the work. 2. Briefly and without force and effect upon the Contract Documents, the work of the Contract is summarized below in the following paragraphs. The work involves normal demolition and exterior renovation work and related specified work as described below. C. Bathroom Renovation: 1. Remove all existing plumbing fixtures, accessories, lighting fixtures, bath fans, tub surrounds, electrical outlets, switches and cover plates at all apartment units. 2. Remove all flooring down to substrate and wall base. Repair floor substrate as required. 3. Remove door, hardware, door frame, door trims. 4. Remove all existing gypsum wall board. 5. Remove existing ceiling gypsum board. 6. Remove wall mounted heaters per drawings. 7. Inspect insulation in walls and ceiling and repair / replace as required. 8. Install new drywall at walls and ceilings per specs. 9. Paint all walls and ceilings per specs. 10. Install new flush panel door, frame, trims on both sides of door and new lever handle hardware with privacy function. Paint door, frame and trims per specs. 11. Install new plumbing fixtures and accessories per specs. 12. Install new light switch and plates, electrical outlets and plates, exhaust fan and cover, and new lighting per specs. 13. Install new flooring and vinyl base.
