Replace the metal roof system on the elementary school gymnasium. OOFING PROPOSAL Elementary School Gymnasium BASE PROPOSAL 1-LAYOVER EXISTING METAL PANEL Work shall include: 1. Attach factory-taper eps flute filler between ribs of existing metal panel. 2. Attach one-quarter inch (1/4") cover board over top of flute filler into existing purlins. 3. Heat weld one layer of 80 mil SBS smooth membrane to top surface of cover board. 4. Heat weld one layer of reflective granule surface mod bit membrane to top surface of SBS membrane. 5. Contractor shall provide a minimum three (3) hour fire watch a completion of each day that a torch is in use. No exceptions. 6. Broadcast surface granules immediately in hot asphalt bleed-out at all side laps and end laps for a monolithic continuous granular surface. 7. Provide new prefinished edge metal, gutters, downspouts, and rake flashings along with all other sheet metal flashing conditions. 8. Provide all flashing and other accessories required by manufacture for a complete weather tight roof assembly. 9. New roof assembly to achieve a 20-year NDL watertight manufacture warranty. Provide and attach new specified insulation assembly to provide a clean finished appearance per manufacturer's guidelines. 4. Provide and install accessories required by insulation manufacturer to meet R-value requirements as well as to allow for flush panel installation. 5. Attach new Standing Seam metal panel roof system over steel purlins using clip attachments as provided by the metal panel manufacturer. 6. Provide and attach new prefinished edge metal, gutters and downspouts at the eaves. 7. Provide and attach all metal flashings, rake trim, ridge vents along with all other accessories required by the manufacturer for a complete metal roof assembly. 8. Complete metal panel roof assembly to achieve a 20 YR weathertight warranty from the manufacturer LTERNATE PROPOSAL 2-REMOVE/REPLACE METAL PANELS WITH R-PANELS 1.
