Site work and new construction of a pre-engineered storage facility in Purvis, Mississippi. Completed plans call for the construction of a 3,000-square-foot, one-story above grade pre-engineered storage facility.
The work consists of building a 30x100 open-side pole barn located at 119 Purvis-Baxterville Road. Materials required include 8x8 rough posts placed on 10-foot centers with a 14-foot drip edge. Posts must be ground contact treated CCA .80 or MCA ground contact treated. Angle iron trusses are to be used, primed and painted. The roofing should use 26-gauge galvalume metal with ridge and rake. 2x6 wood purlins (#1 grade and better S4S), not treated, are required. Concrete must be used around all posts, with 160 pounds of dry mix concrete per post. Bidders must submit bids according to Mississippi Code 31-3-21 of 1972, as amended, with the contractor’s current certification number on the exterior of the envelope or container submitted to the City Clerk.
