Site work and new construction of a warehouse / distribution facility in Cowen, West Virginia. Completed plans call for the construction of a one-story above grade warehouse / distribution facility; and for site work for a warehouse / distribution facility.
The work includes the construction of a new pre-engineered metal bus garage and other related work as indicated in the bidding documents. Sealed bids are to be submitted and will be compared as to quality, thoroughness, and cost. Bidders must obtain full sets of bidding documents by paying a non-refundable document access fee. All requests for information, substitution requests, and correspondence must be submitted in writing to the Architect. Addenda will be issued only to registered bidding document holders. A mandatory pre-bid meeting will be held to familiarize bidders with the bidding requirements and to address questions. All potential Bidders are required to attend, and potential sub-bidders and material suppliers are encouraged to attend. A bid bond of 5% of the bid amount is required, and the successful bidder must provide a 100% Performance and Labor and Material Payment Bond. All Bidders and subcontractors are required to utilize local labor as specified and must be licensed in the State of West Virginia. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and make selections in its own best interest.
