Site work and new construction of a mixed-use development in Midlothian, Texas. Working plans call for the construction of a municipal facility; and playground / park / athletic field.
Per City council meeting on February 24, 2026, all bids were rejected for this project. It is unknown if this project will go for bid in the future. Plans call for the construction of two buildings at the Parks & Recreation Complex. Building A is the Parks & Recreation Office & Breakroom and Building B is the Parks & Recreation Equipment & Materials Storage Building. The project is for two separate buildings to be constructed next to each other located on 1050 North Highway 67, Service Road in Midlothian, Texas. This project will construct the foundation and the exterior only, of two buildings. The electrical, plumbing, HVAC and IT infrastructure will be outside of the scope of work in this bid and will be performed by other contractors. The interior work will be constructed by other contractors All communications about this RFP must be directed through the following City representative and must be received not later than February 4, 2026: Nery Pena, Purchasing Agent, Nery.pena@midlothian.tx.us
