The project includes the replacement of an existing sewer lift station with a new sewer lift station, which will consist of an 8' diameter concrete wet well, 10'x8' valve vault, duplex submersible pumps, steel frame and electric hoist for pump removal, gravity sewer manholes and lines, sewer force mains, security fencing, and a gravel parking pad. Bids shall be on a unit price basis. Digital copies of the bid documents are available online for a fee. Addendums to the bid package will be issued through the online plan holders list. All prime bidders are responsible for downloading the bid documents from the online plan room to be included in the Plan Holders List and must submit a bid. Bidders must enter any addenda numbers in their proposal to verify receipt. Each bid must be submitted on the prescribed form and accompanied by a certified check or bid bond executed on the prescribed form, payable to the City of Booneville in an amount not less than five percent (5%) of the amount bid. The attention of the bidder is directed to observe applicable federal and state requirements and conditions of employment, including minimum wage rates to be paid under the contract. All qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises are encouraged to bid and to receive contracts for goods, services, and construction. General contractors are also encouraged to subcontract portions of their contract to qualified small, minority, and women business enterprises. The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities, reject bids, and postpone the award of the contract for a period not exceeding 90 days from the bid opening date.
