Sealed bids will be received electronically for "2025 Galvanized Service Replacement Pennsylvania Ave", Contract No. W-56. The Owner will purchase all water system materials under a separate contract. Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid. Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the state where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall state the same. Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw a bid within sixty days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. Hauling, installing and coordinating deliveries of all backfill materials; labor, materials and equipment to do all clearing of work areas, excavation to the depth shown and/or indicated, support of utilities, maintenance of excavation, dewatering, backfilling, additional fill, disposal of excess fill, grading, compaction and all incidental work to complete earthwork for utility construction in accordance with Borough and Authority requirements and as shown on drawings, as specified and/or as directed by the Engineer.
